Several weeks ago, we did a round up of fun pumpkin-themed craft ideas (link HERE). That said, with all the Christmas festivities drawing near, I thought it would be fun to have some Christmas tree craft inspiration for your kids. I know that there are a lot of different things you can do with this theme, but here are 10 favorites of mine that I found after doing some digging:)

1. Fingerprint Tree – by A Dab of Glue (link HERE)

This craft presents a little spin on the traditional “handprint craft” (hint: there’s one of those coming later in the post!), but I thought it’d be fun:) Keep in mind that it may be a little messy!

2. Yarn and Stick Christmas Tree – by Kids Craft Room (link HERE)

These yarn and stick Christmas trees may be a little less messy than some of the other crafts we are focusing on today, and they can be made from very inexpensive supplies that you can likely find around your house. Additionally, there are truly so many creative options you have with this craft. You could even make it into an ornament if you like:)

3. Large Cardboard Christmas trees – by Busy Toddler (link HERE)

How fun are these large cardboard Christmas trees! I encourage you to follow through the link to the Busy Toddler’s site and follow some of her suggestions for this craft, but it really is such a fun and entertaining idea. These trees could also look super cute in a homeschool room!

4. Finger paint trees – by A More Crafty Life (link HERE)

Once again, here’s another spin off the fingerprint craft that we took a look at earlier, but I still thought this craft idea was different and too cute to not include:) It can also be made with simple paint and paper which I think is a win. These would be adorable to frame and save as a keepsake with little fingerprints!

5. Tissue Paper Christmas Trees – by Design Improvised (link HERE)

These tissue paper Christmas trees could also be used as homeschool room decor, if you wanted:) There are so many options for how you choose to decorate them and what colors you decide upon. That said, this little craft is really just a fun activity for a rainy/snowy winter day!

6. Handprint Christmas Tree Handtowel – by It’s Always Autumn (link HERE)

Admit it! You knew I couldn’t resist putting in at least one handprint craft in this compilation! They’re just too cute, right? Now, this article discusses how to put the handprints on a hand towel, but you could easily just put them on paper, if you’d rather:)

Aren’t these cards with the little faces cute? I think they’d be adorable to give away with any kind of baked goods you’d like to bring to neighbors this year:) They’re also pretty simple to make even with little kids.

I love that these are made from pine cones and wood bases! It’d be so fun to go outside and have your kids choose which pine cones they want to paint and give them the creative liberty to decorate them 🙂

If you’ve got older children, perhaps they’d like to attempt this pine cone Christmas tree that is quite a bit more involved. Though it may be a higher level of difficulty, when completed, this pine cone craft results in a very pretty piece of decor to add to your Christmas collection:)

Okay, so I know these waffles probably don’t fit into your traditional idea of “Christmas tree crafts,” but I still thought they were so much fun for the holiday season. As a side note, the bright green color of the waffles might be extra fun for your kids if you happened to read “How the Grinch Stole Christmas!” in your morning basket 😉
