Here in Alabama, it has been so sweet watching the leaves changing color all around where I live. Though I know it is stereotypical, I have to admit that I really do enjoy all the pumpkins around us. I love the pumpkin flavors and decorations! Earlier in this season, I published a post with “fall bucket list ideas for families” (link HERE) along with another one with “apple-themed activities for kids” (link HERE). With that said, I thought it would be fun to pull together a compilation of pumpkin crafts for children.

Therefore, without further adieu, here are 10 different pumpkin-themed craft ideas:)

As I have said before, I have a soft spot in my heart for handprint crafts. They are so sweet and sentimental! This one is no different. It can be made as a card or not, depending on how you would like to keep it. It’s so cute!

2. Paper Strip Pumpkin – by First Palette (link HERE)

This little craft has the potential for many hours of entertainment:) Not only is it easy to make, but it could also be a fun activity for many different ages since you could even enable older children to make it themselves thereby allowing them to practice measuring and following a recipe.

Additionally, you could also find different play dough mats to go along with the pumpkin theme. Here’s a super cute option from Fantastic Fun and Learning that only requires an email subscription (link HERE):

This craft would definitely be better for some older children or teens, and it does require some more expensive materials since you need to buy the plastic pumpkins for a base along with different kinds of yarn, but I still think they are so cute and would be wonderful for fall home décor.
