“Love is not only something you feel, it is something you do.” – David Wilkerson (link to quote HERE)

What a sweet season of the year! It is a time to focus on those we love and what love means to us. With that in mind, I wanted to pull together some craft ideas that you can do with your littles of all ages. I tried to find a variety of crafts that you can give to your children to do on their own or even complete as a group.

That said, check out these two other posts I wrote with other Valentine’s Day thoughts:

Again, this craft would definitely be for small children, but it may be neat to include older children in the process of making these little keepsakes. They could help put the ink on the little toes and put the craft paper elements together.

Though this picture isn’t the best quality, I thought it was such a great idea! It’d be so fun to go on a walk or go to the park and collect all the pin cones. From there, you could definitely paint them all different colors, or even keep them natural and put them together into this sweet heart wreath to be displayed somewhere in your home or even to be given away as a gift 🙂

Again, this Valentine’s Day craft is a little more advanced, but it’d be fun to do as a group effort. It’s not expensive to put together, and it allows for so much creativity with colors and textures since you get to choose the type of yarn you want. It would be fun to use these trees as decor around the home this time of year as we begin our transition to spring!

11. “Love You to Pieces!” Puzzle Piece Heart Valentine’s Day Craft – The Soccer Mom Blog (link HERE)

This craft is a little more time consuming since it has multiple steps (painting, gluing, etc.), but it would be so neat to take a puzzle that already has a few missing pieces, and repurpose those puzzle pieces as a little heart wreath. This is a great sensory craft for children who are developing their fine motor skills.
