Monkeys are fun, intelligent little creatures. When you’re working with preschoolers, so many topics can be full of fun and wonder. That in mind, it can be really neat to do deep dives into topics of interest for them, topics like zoo animals, or, more specifically, monkeys 🙂 Here are some fun facts about monkeys that would be entertaining to share with your preschool and kindergarten aged children:

This one is a great activity for little kids who have a good imagination. All you need is a printer and some popsicle sticks, and, once again, an imagination 😉

Here’s another popsicle stick puppet activity 🙂 The fun thing about this craft is that it also brings in an opportunity for your kids to practice their fine motor skills and counting/matching skills.

Though this monkey activity may not be super cute (with regards to the aesthetic), it is such a great, simple way to help your littles exercise their fine motor skills. Bring out the barrel of monkeys and a clothes pin made to look like an alligator and maybe even have your older kids help the younger ones bring the “Five Little Monkeys” poem to life.
