Hope you are all having a great week so far 🙂 These weeks are just flying by for me. Thanksgiving is only about a month away! Can you believe it? I love each and every one of the seasons, and I’m thoroughly excited about the holiday season coming up. What a great way and time to focus on family and friends and making sweet memories!

A Thanksgiving Poem

Isn’t that sweet? “Though we should strive years without end, we could not thank thee for them all.” I thought this poem would be sweet to include in a morning basket around this time of year. Do you all do a morning basket? We never did one when I was growing up, but I think it would be such a fun thing to incorporate into daily life rhythms. I would love to hear your thoughts about morning baskets in the comments below!
With all of that said, I’m doing my best to pull together some fun holiday content for you to enjoy with your kids this thanksgiving season. This specific post is for free thanksgiving activity pages for preschoolers. I’m really trying to pull together some free thanksgiving printables that will help your littles practice their fine motor skills, letter sounds, number recognition, and other valuable skills. I’m hoping to do another post with thanksgiving coloring pages. For this post though, we will focus mainly on printable activities with a thanksgiving theme. If you want to get older kids involved, I would recommend asking them to help the younger kids with the more difficult printable worksheets.
I think this is a fun activity page to help littles with their number recognition in a fun and engaging way. It can also help with practicing colors, as well 🙂
I love this printable so much. This free preschool printable would be a fun activity for younger kids and older. Though I know it is so important for us to teach our babies the importance of thankfulness and gratitude in every season, the fall season is a lovely time to really bring it to the forefront of our minds as we enjoy the many blessings we have been given, just like was mentioned before in that poem by Paul Laurence Dunbar.
This Thanksgiving word search would be a fun way to pass some time on the cooler, slower evenings of this fall season.
These next two are what they call “Placemat” printables. I love the fact that there are multiple different activities included on one page.
This site has so many cute maze printables that would be so fun for Thanksgiving! I love that several of these worksheet printables also have elements of “thankfulness journaling” incorporated into it.

Here’s a fun connect the dots printable for your littles to enjoy 🙂 It’d be a great way for them to practice their numbers.

Here’s a “secret message puzzle” that would be fun if you have older children to help with the young kids. Sometimes the thanksgiving puzzles are a little trickier.

I tried to include multiple different math worksheets that have different difficulty levels for your littles. I know preschool is a time when so much learning is taking place and every child is likely at different levels at different times. I hope you will be able to find a few that fit perfectly with where they are with their math skills!
Here’s another great addition worksheet. It’d be the perfect activity to tag onto the end of your homeschool day.
This printable would likely take more time than several of the other printables in this collection which might be exactly what you are looking for. You could even make it a group effort or a competition which I think would be fun.
Here’s a super cute turkey coloring page that also includes some letter tracing to help your littles with their letter recognition.
For littles who are just starting with schoolwork, this printable would be perfect for practicing their number recognition and writing skills.
I love this fun take on a “fill in the blank” worksheet. Your littles just need to figure out which letter is the first letter for the word shown in the picture.
Here’s a more “crafty” printable that would be perfect if you have a child who loves to read.
This cute turkey craft is perfect for getting some extra practice with different colors and addition, as well.
This handprint activity is definitely one of the thanksgiving crafts that you will want to add to your collection. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a craft like it, but I think it’s so cute!

With this printable, you could cut out the little food pictures, or you just get them to draw different foods onto the plate.
I love this cornucopia craft idea. All you need is some coloring pencils/crayons, scissors, and some glue.
If you wanted, you could use this printable for your older and younger kids to work together. You could get the younger ones to tell the older kids what to write as they complete the worksheet, or you could even get your kids to take turns naming something and make it a group effort.
Lastly, this printable is great for practicing letter recognition. I hope it will be helpful!
