Happy Thursday, friends!
Hope you are all having an absolutely lovely holiday season! The holiday busyness is definitely upon us here in Alabama, but I am really trying to soak in all the beautiful and wonderful elements of the season even as we embrace the busyness.
As the Christmas season unfolds, I know that many of us will be involved in different Christmas/winter gatherings, and it seemed like you all really enjoyed the Thanksgiving charcuterie board round-up. With that in mind, I thought I’d go ahead and pull together 21+ different winter charcuterie boards that would be perfect for the holiday season or even some other winter gathering that you may be a part of.
Without further adieu, here are some of my favorite winter charcuterie boards that I could find!
Traditional Winter Charcuterie Boards
As we go through these boards, you may start to notice some common elements that really make them look more “wintery,” “festive,” or “Christmasy.” In this board, I think the key elements are the pomegranate seeds, peppermints, gingerbread men, and powdered cookies.
I love the creativity with this board. Again, this one has the fresh berries, the hard cheese, the savory meat, and a variety of different flavors. There isn’t a lot of food here, but there are a lot of different options even with the few things that are included. It’s a fun idea for sure.
I love the little pops of red with the pomegranate seeds. So cute and simple. I think it’s nice that you really can just use a pretty cutting board for these grazing boards. It doesn’t have to be displayed on any kind of fancy tray. The fresh rosemary sprigs also add such a lovely touch of festive to this winter cheese board.
Here’s another take on the Christmas tree charcuterie board. I love how this board is much more fresh fruit/cheese focused. Love all the different shapes and the fact that there is mainly just red, yellow, and green in this board. So pretty!
Isn’t this board pretty too? I think this holiday board would be the perfect board for a girls night for the family or even for a girl Christmas gathering. The flowers are so pretty and I love the sugared cranberries at the bottom of the wreath. This beautiful board also incorporates a variety of textures which I can appreciate.
It’s neat to note that incorporating different aspects from these charcuterie board ideas can be a great way to introduce new foods or favorite things to your friends and family while also presenting plenty of familiar options.
Here’s another take on the wreath charcuterie board. It’s not as “child friendly” since there are so many olives, but you could probably sub those out if you wanted kids to like it more.
The fresh herbs and soft cheeses both look so pretty on this board. I thought the thinly sliced prosciutto was also a nice touch on this board. I would have thought there would be more prosciutto on each of these boards, but it doesn’t seem to be one that as many people gravitate towards. That said, I think it’s a great option!
I love the ribbons, the candy canes, and the gold foil chocolates, too. So pretty and creative.
The bright colors and different fruit on this holiday board are lovely. I feel like you could use a circular cutting board as they did in this example, or you could simply use a large serving tray and just really try to still keep that “wreath” shape by outlining it in the rosemary sprigs, as they did in this example.
Here’s another lovely red charcuterie board by Graze Together! So pretty and fun. The sweet “Merry Christmas” message would be a great focal point for a food spread at holiday parties or Christmas parties, specifically.
Also, this board could definitely be customized to be perfect for kids.
Here’s another fun take on a Christmas tree focal point for a charcuterie board. The little sprigs of rosemary add a great touch, too.
I like all the creative shapes on this charcuterie board. There is definitely a variety of cheeses on this holiday board, but it still features some fruit and meat. This board also does have more of a Christmas colors theme, as well.
Y’all. How amazing! If you are looking to go all out on a charcuterie experience, this charcuterie house is where it’s at! Honestly, this cheese plate is simply a work of art. You could definitely adjust and substitute in order to make this board fit your needs and preferences.
Dessert Winter Charcuterie Boards
Now, on to more of the good stuff 😉 Honestly, I think that hot chocolate charcuterie boards are such an awesome idea! They’d be perfect for so many occasions. Whether you are just wanting to have some friends over for a movie or you are spending a fun evening with your kids, it’d be both easy and fun to whip together a hot chocolate charcuterie board with things you may even already have that would spruce up a traditional cup of hot chocolate. So fun and creative.
Here are a few more spins on the hot chocolate charcuterie board idea.
What better way to pull together all those lovely Christmas cookies you’ve been making than to put them on display on a pretty charcuterie board! I love this creative way to showcase all the hard work that goes into Christmas cookies.
Here are a couple of other variations.
I love this fun and colorful way to put out all of your favorite Christmas treats. You could even use it as a way to put out any leftovers you may have from recipes and such.
This nutcracker dessert board is definitely one of my favorites. I feel like it isn’t as iconically a Christmas board, but it has subtle elements of the holiday season. Super cute. It feels like this one may be a better fit for an older audience rather than for small children since they may not enjoy some of the treats on this board quite as much as some of the other boards.
Look how cute this board is! I think it’s technically a hot chocolate board, as well, but it has some other really fun things on it. The cookie tree is so fun!
If you are ever looking for inspiration when it comes to making the holidays just a little more special for your kids, you need to go check out Casey Leigh’s ideas. She always has the sweetest, simplest ways to add a little sparkle into everyday things. I love it.
There you have it! This post has pulled together 21+ different winter charcuterie boards and Christmas charcuterie boards. There are so many others that I could have featured in this post. I loved so many of the lovely ideas that people have dreamed up. That said, if you decide to recreate any of these ideas, please let me know! Hope you are all having a wonderful holiday season.
