Because He lives I can face tomorrow; because He lives all fear is gone; because I know He holds the future, and life is worth the living just because He lives.

Easter is such a precious time for us to remember just how important the resurrection of Christ really is in our day to day lives. If Jesus had not raised from the dead, our faith would not be founded on truth. It is because He lives that my life has true meaning and purpose! With that in mind, how do we teach our kids the importance of the resurrection? How do we incorporate Easter and the beauty of the Gospel into our homeschooling?

Here are a few Easter activities that are simple and fun to include in your homeschooling routines leading up to Resurrection Sunday!

1. Easter outreach.

Easter is such a beautiful time to remind the world about the Gospel. Whether you simply order some Easter tracts and go to a place with a group from your church to hand them out or whether you decide to branch out and simply take your older kids to put tracts on cars in a parking lot, I encourage you to take this time of year to spread the glorious hope we have because He lives.

Here is a Gospel tract that is designed specially for the weeks leading up to Easter (below is an affiliate link):

2. Easter crafts.

Another great Easter activity to incorporate into your homeschooling would be crafts. In a world that is overly saturated with electronic devices, I am reminded of the importance of doing things with our hands. With that in mind, crafts can be a great way to help your kids learn how to use their creativity and enjoy making things they can add to their homeschooling portfolios.

Here are a few craft ideas I found that focus on the resurrection of Christ and His Gospel:

3. Easter coloring pages.

There are so many resources for this Easter activity! I pulled together some of my favorites, here. I tried to pull together some that would work for all ages along with boys and girls.

There you have it! In this post, we have considered only a few simple ways to incorporate a few Easter activities into your daily homeschooling routines leading up to Resurrection Sunday! I sincerely hope that they have been inspiring and that you will use the ideas as a resource for your homeschooling.

Do you have any traditions for Easter? How do you make it a special holiday for your kids and teach them about the importance of Resurrection Sunday? I would love to hear from you in the comments below!

Until next time
