Hello, sweet friends!

Hope you are all well and having a lovely week 🙂 I wanted to take a quick break from the other posts in my tracing worksheets series to focus a little bit more on the coming summer season. Normally, most of the content that I feel inspired to create is much more holiday/seasonally focused. I love seeing all the fun colors and activities that are special within a given season. With that said, as the month of May unfolds, I have summer on my mind. With all of the summer holidays and plans approaching, I can’t help but dream of the long summer evenings that are just around the corner. Summer is the warmest season of the year, and I am so looking forward to the fun times that will be spent with loved ones, the tan lines that we will signify all the hours we spent outside, the fresh produce exclusive to the season, and the warm weather activities that will manage to make their way into our summer days.

We just did some letter e tracing worksheets, and I thought it might be fun to pull together a collection of summer words that start with E. With that in mind, here is a list of summer words to go along with the coming summer season. We know that summer vacation is just around the corner which will bring fun things like ice cream, fresh fruit, iced tea, and lazy days. That said, you may still be trying to pull in some educational activities with your littles since it really is a great time to do just that. Though green grass and fresh pies are a lovely part of summer, they do not start with the letter “e,” so without further adieu, here are 50 summer words that start with the letter “e.” Maybe you can use these to help with that Independence Day word game that you’re putting together! 😉

Though we have not even quite entered the summer months or even the first day of summer, I still wanted to get a fun post out with a more summer time theme to it. To be honest, this post was tricky to write! I feel like other letters like “f” would be easier since there are words like “fresh,” “free,” “fireworks,” and “festivals.” Nonetheless, I chose the letter “e” mainly because it is harder to find lists online that feel more comprehensive and helpful. Some of these e letter words are descriptive words, while others are nouns which I hope will give you more to choose from. I know this blog post might not have had any very deep thoughts, but I hope that maybe you have found an acceptable word for your word game or summer vocabulary activity with your littles 😉

There you have it! This post has pulled together 21 different “e” words that go along with the coming summer season. With this warmest period of the year, I hope that you will get outside and enjoy the longer days with some sweet tea, bare feet, and fun hot weather activities. Make some memories and make the most of your time.

Do you have any other “e” summer words to add to this list of words?

Which letter do you think would be the easiest to come up with a list of summer words for (I can probably bet that it is not the letter “x”)?
