Are you already counting down till Christmas? Well, as of today, there are only 49 more days! Time hurries on. Though I’m still in the spirit of fall, I thought it would be fun to pull together a bunch of ideas that you could use for a Christmas bucket list for your kiddos. For all you planners out there, this post is for you 😉

Education.
- Read the nativity story together as a family
- Read The Crippled Lamb
- Make an advent calendar
- Write an essay about what Christmas means to you

- Memorize part of the Christmas story in Luke 2

- Learn a new Christmas carol/song
Activities.
- Decorate a Christmas tree
- Watch “A Charlie Brown Christmas“
- Make hot chocolate
- Visit a Christmas tree farm
- Watch “It’s A Wonderful Life“
- Listen to Christmas music
- Decorate sugar cookies
- Make a gingerbread house
- Build a snowman
- Go to an ice rink and skate
- Make a gift rather than buying one
- Make Christmas tree ornaments
- Buy “ugly” sweaters
- Make paper snowflakes
- Drive around to see Christmas lights
- Make Christmas cards
Ministry.
- Go caroling
- Hand out Christmas Gospel tracts with a candy cane
- Bring a Christmas-themed baked good to widows in your church
- Do as many random acts of kindness as you can
- Buy your pastor/Sunday school teacher a Christmas gift
- Make care packages for children who will be spending the holidays in a hospital
- Invite a church family over who may have never been to your home before and share a meal/dessert
