Hello, friends!

Hope you are all having a lovely week 🙂 It’s been a great one over here. Our baby boy is coming up on two months old, and we are really settling into some nice rhythms which I’m thankful for. My sweet boy is growing bigger and stronger every day. Each holiday that passes is another “first” which adds a touch of sweetness to every one. As we come up on the 4th of July in just a couple of weeks, I know that it will be no different.

I’m really hoping for a very happy 4th of July this year. With that in mind, I’m hoping to provide you all with several different posts for July 4th. Earlier this week, I published a post with 25+ easy 4th of July desserts that are kid friendly (here’s the link to it HERE, if you’d like to check it out!). There were several that included a bunch of fresh fruit, others were cookie recipes, and there were even a few charcuterie boards and a flag cake decorating design idea. Over the next couple of weeks, I will pull together a compilation for July 4th activities. Today’s post is for free printable coloring pages, though, that I hope will be so much fun for your July celebration.

We will be pulling together some free 4th of July printable coloring pages for kids. These were fun to design! I hope that they will bring some fun to your holiday season. I think they’d be fun for both older kids and younger kids!

That said, to download your free coloring pages, simply click the image. Clicking the coloring sheets will take you to a PDF file where you can print your free 4th of July coloring pages. These coloring pages are for personal use. Feel free to use them for classroom use, daycare, or for your littles at home while you enjoy celebrating this important day.

Time to Celebrate Coloring Page PDF File

This patriotic coloring sheet is the first of the free printable Fourth of July coloring pages that we will be looking at in this blog post. Honestly, I think it’d be a good fit for Memorial Day, Labor Day, or any of the patriotic holidays. To print it, simply click the picture or this link to be redirected to the PDF file:

Fireworks Coloring Page PDF File

Here’s another free 4th of July coloring sheet. I thought these fireworks are fun patriotic symbols. You could definitely encourage your kids of all ages to use their favorite colors. Maybe even challenge them to use red, white, and blue rather than any of the different colors. Again, to download the free coloring page, click the image above or this link:

America the Beautiful Coloring Page PDF File

This PDF coloring page is a fun one since you could do many different “challenges” since it’s a map of the United States. It’d be a good way to help your little kids learn some of the names of the state, if you wanted.

As you may have noticed, these coloring pages definitely have lots of fireworks which I thought was fun.

Happy Independence Day Coloring Page PDF File

Last but not least, this coloring page may be my favorite of all five. I love that it says simply “Happy Independence Day.” I thought all the buildings and houses in this picture were really cute, as well. They’d be a great way for your young artists to practice some of their fine motor skills. This coloring page is definitely a little bit more in-depth than some of the other pages in this collection. I also thought it was fun that the fireworks have different shapes not to mention this coloring page specifically has plenty of stars.

As I mentioned before, these 4th of July coloring pages were so fun to design. I sincerely hope that they bring some fun to your summer days with your kids.

I know that these July celebrations can be easy to brush over, but it’s important to remind our children of just how critical the significance is for Independence Day. For me personally, this holiday holds a special significance this year. This is my first year celebrating July 4th as an American citizen. Though I know that it’s easy to become complacent when it comes to being a citizen of any country, I am very grateful for the heritage that I know enjoy as a citizen of this country. I don’t want to take the freedoms that we enjoy in America for granted.

Though these patriotic coloring pages may seem to only be fun summertime pictures, I hope that they will be a fun activity as you try to highlight the importance and significance of the 4th of July to your children of all ages. These free printable 4th of July coloring pages are all ones that I’ve created myself, but I’m also thinking of pulling together a larger compilation of different designs since I don’t think this post is as comprehensive as I would like it to be when it comes to free printables that highlight American symbols such as the Statue of Liberty, American Eagles, etc.

Anyhow, I’ll finish out this post by wishing you a Happy Fourth of July or Happy Independence Day! I hope you have a lovely day of celebration, friend.
