20+ Spring Activities for Kids

I’m so excited for all of the sweet new beginnings of spring that are just around the corner. Though the weather still hasn’t made up its mind between being warm or hot, it shouldn’t be long before the hotter weather comes to stay for a good while. That said, I’ve been looking for some fun spring activities and crafts to do with your kiddos as this season approaches. There are many crafts that can be done only with some scissors and paper, but there are also some painted rocks, finger paintings, and even some DIY bird feeders!

Without further adieu, here are some of my favorites that I’ve come across 🙂

Here’s a spring activity that can be done with just some paper, glue, and scissors:)

Aren’t these neat? You could potentially use this craft as part of your science studies!

Again, this spring craft has super simple supplies, but it also really allows for so much creativity which I love:)

I think this spring activity is so neat! These “bubble flowers” are so fun.

Wouldn’t these be cute in a vase in a schoolroom? I think they are so cute and fun 🙂

This craft may be better for kids that are in the preteen years since it requires a more attention to detail:)

This craft would be great as a project for kids of different ages to do together.

I love these little fingerprint flowers! These would be adorable framed and displayed in a schoolroom 🙂

These would be so fun after a hike. You could have your kids gather a whole bunch of plants while you hike then put them together and preserve them through these little clay crafts:)

This craft could get a little messy, but it is a fun spin on the regular craft paper activities.

Here’s a fairly simple DIY bird feeder that would be fun as a spring activity.

I love these beaded butterflies! There is a lot of room for creativity here with different colors, and it’s a great way for littles to practice their fine motor skills 🙂

How cute are these little pom pom caterpillars? I love how simple and sweet they are!

This spring activity is quite a bit more labor intensive, but I thought it would be such a fun craft for a day that you have a little more time.

This craft might not be as pretty, but it is pretty cute! You could even get creative and add some items from nature like branches or grass:)

Aren’t these little bees adorable! They’re a little more difficult than the ladybugs, but it would be a fun challenge for older children:)

I really like these pine cone bird feeders! It’d be so fun to go find the pine cones at some point then add the seeds later when you have time:)

There you have it! I tried to pull together a wide variety of different crafts that can work for both boys and girls and children/teens of all ages 🙂 I sincerely hope that some of these ideas have been inspirational for you!
