Hello, everyone!

Happy Wednesday 🙂 The week is swiftly slipping away which means we are almost at the end of July! It seems hard to believe that school will be starting back very soon for many families. I’ve very much enjoyed focusing more on creating printables over the course of this summer, and I’m really hoping that they will be a help to you and your younger kids as you help them grow with their fine motor skills, letter formation knowledge, and understanding of the entire alphabet. These worksheets are designed to introduce both the lowercase and uppercase letters. This specific post will provide you with four different letter w tracing worksheet printables that vary in difficulty level. As you explore each letter of the alphabet with your children, I hope that you will have some learning fun. I’m very excited to be wrapping up this series very soon and to be able to tie it all together for you all.

The four different pages all have different difficulty levels. The first page is simply the uppercase letter “W” combined with the lowercase letter “w” made with dotted lines that your child can trace. The second page has only traceable uppercase W’s and the lowercase letter w’s. Next, the third page has the uppercase letter W with two lines to copy down the letter without as much guidance and two more lines for the lowercase w. Lastly, the final page has letter w words including the words “walnut,” “whale,” “walrus,” and “web” with dotted lines that young children can use to trace. On that page, there are only lowercase letters in the words, and I think it can be a great way to introduce other small letters and letter sounds.

There you have it! I hope that each of these free printables will be a blessing to you whether you are using them for personal use with your own children or in a more homeschool coop or classroom setting with other children. These alphabet tracing worksheets have been so fun to make and the series is going by faster than I may have thought it would, but as we near the end, I’m trying to brainstorm to figure out what to do next. As I mentioned in the last post, I have a few different directions I could go, and I want to find the right one. That said, in the mean time, for young children, practicing letter recognition and basic writing skills is so important, and I believe these printable activities will be a fun way to get in some extra practice through this summer season with both their capital letters and lowercase letters.
